The Sunday Law, too, has much to do aigurated with a fight, and every subsequent day, so far, ha’ been more or less marked for some sort ef disturbance. A chap from Blue Tent, yesterday. morning, steod at the corner of Broad_and Pine, declaring he was a rebel, and making any amount of hostile demonstrations. When we got there he had his coat off. and appeared satisfied of his ability to thrash all the Union men in the country, as he said he was a “ pistel and bowie knife fighter.” Fortunately for him he was drunk, and all the Union men around him were sober. It is to. be hoped that this state of feeling will soon leave our community, and that the public mind may soon resume its wonted placidity. HARRIMAN’S LECTURES.—A. very worthy and intellectual citizen of this State, Mr. M W. Harriman, has been delivering lectures in mary of the principal towns te large-and interested audiences. Some three sears since Mr. Harriman became afflicted with a disease of the eyes which resulted in totn) blindness. In order to procure the means of sustaining existence, under this dresdful calamity, he has been induced te employ his talents asa lecturer.
