gaye that Robert Anderson, Ex-Lieut. Govetnor of this State, has lately returned from
an extended trip throughout the Dixie country. He left this region shortly after the
breaking out of the rebellion, and hag had «
qood taste of its working. It 1s believed that
Anderson is now a Union man, as, to get out
of Dixie he had to take the Confederate oath
three times aud the Union oath four times.
The majority of oaths being m favor of the
Union, and Anderson being one who be.
