Sylvester MeClintock, an old resident of

killed a few days ago at Cloverdale, Mendocino county. It appears that McClintock
had some words with a man by the name of
Glaseovk about some cattle, when he rushed
at McClintock and stabbed him in the neck

ago we recorded the. fact, that the cabin of
Mr. Peasley, near Blue Tent, had been robe
bed of a number of articles, among which
were a valise, several specimens valued at
$40, a valuable Masonic pin, and a note for
$500. We were informed yesterday that
the valise, note and clething were founda
