Specimen OF SIGEL's SPTRATEGY.—The New York Evening Post. in a notice of Siweél’s late advantage over the rebels, saya as tallowe : The atrategem by which Gen Sigel r cently captured some 2,000 of the enemy, whom he enticed acro-s te Rappahannock by the exhibition of a small force and a weak and misplaced battery of artiilery, is charucteristic of the an, who will yet, it he is given the opportunity, to teach the enemy some avvere lesseus. Then he ordered bis cannenier te fire. a few rourds of ball, and afterward, a nambe> of rounds of blank catridge The rebele, cautiously edvancing, at once guessed that poor Sigel had got out of amunition. Their commander with a shout of triumph, guve the order to charge in a body upon what he thonght ourempty xuce. When the acreaming rebels got within less than 100 yards of Sigel’s guns, his cannon‘ers were ore dered to use grape and canister, and fire as }quickly and accurately as possible.
