SecTioni. The City of Nevada hereby grants
to the Sunset Telephone and Te'egraph Co., its
successors and assigns, the rightavd privilege to
lace, lay, erect, maintain and operate in the

. transmission of electricity for telephone and
telegraph purposes.

SECTION 4. Nothing in this ordinance shall
be construed as in anywise te prevent the proper
authorities of said City of Nevada from sewering, grading, paving, plinking, repairing or altering any of said stree’s or thoroughfares herein mentioned.
SECTION 5. In consideration of the rights
hérein granted the said City of Nevada shall
have the right to agent tog and maintain upon
the poles placed by said grantee, its successors
or assigns, in the streets and thorough fares aforesaid, any and al: wires which sail city may require for fire elarm. and Police Telegraph Serviee, free of chirge t»> said City.
