Postmaster Oarr breathed a sigh of
relief and his face was overspread with
a broad grin last evening when he had
concluded the work of footing up the
business of the last day of the month
of March and found that the income of
. the office for stamp sales and box rents
for the past twelve months had exceeded the sum of $8000 and so made
him the postmaster of an office that
ea be second-class during the fiscal’

him an increase in salary of from $1900
a year to $2000, and gives him extra
allowances for help, etc,, which will
naturally enable him to improve the

He did not have much of a margin to

The Reservoir Survey Completed.
The survey of the new city reservoir
