How to Polish t the Windows.
The action of the sun, moisture and
the carkonio acid in the air on the soda
or potash in the produces an opaqueness very pronounced. ‘Tio remove
this wet the glass with dilute hydrochloric acid, and after a few minutes go
over the glase with powdered whiting.
Pour the acid slowly into the cold water, using 4 ounces of the acid totwelve

Polish with chamois or soft paper. It
must be remembered that this acid will
attack metal and should not be allowed
totouch them, nor should the bottle be
left open an instant longer than neces—
