. KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:. That we, the undersigned, have this day voluntarily associated ourselves together for the purpose of forming a corporation
under the laws of the state of California.
AND WE HEREBY CERTIFY:. FIRST:
That the name of said corporation is the KANSAS MINING
COMPANY.
SECOND:
That the purposes for which it is formed are, to engage
in mining trade and transportation; to acquire mining claims of
_any and all kinds; to mine, quarry and dig for gold, silver, copper, quicksilver, gypsum, stone and any and all other metals,
minerals and products; to buy, own, hold, sell and encumber,
convey and deal in stocks, bonds, real estate and personal prop(erty; to buy, own, holé, sell, encumber, convey, work and operate and deal in mines and mining land and claims and the prod-ucts of mines and water rights and systems of any and all kinds,
