He showed that ‘while the Order was composed chiefly of English-Americans, it was emphatically American in all its designs and parPoses. He urged in an emphatic manner the importance of fraternal men attending divine services on the Lord’s ally received and evidently much appreoiated. The conclading address given by Rev. J. Sims was 4 masterly dissertation on the twe flags: fe showed a complete familiarity with the history of Old Glory and the Union Jack of Great Britain and among other things he said that while the two great Anglo Saxon nations had two governments, they were one people and the Sons of St. George desired that they should ever retain a condition of peace and iutéynational good will. His per oration, in which he spoke of the two flags moving in the van of the world’s progress, made evidently g deep gud testing impression upon the-mind of every intelligent hearer in the vast audience. The conctnding anthems of Thee” and “Wake the Song.” -The two flags, the stars and stripes and the Union Jack, beautifally adorned the pulpit, and are the property of the order. po NN J Settle Up!
