Salinas last evening to be with his
brother, Hon, E. M. Preston, who le a
very sick man,
Mrs. John Kendrick and children of
Hill will leave Wednesday morning for
Stockton to join Mr. Kendrick, who is
now located at that place.
William Snell, who formerly resided
on the lower Graes Valley road, is now
in Angeles Camp, Calaveras county.
Mr, Snell was employed at the mines
in Jackson, Amador county, when the
miners’ strike occurred there and was
forced to seek employment eleewhere
on account of the mines closing down,
Mrs. E. Snell of Piety Hill left yesterday morning for Angels Oamp to
visit ber daughter, Mra, Fred Beedle,
Jobo Ragon, who has been visiting

terest for the past three months, returned home last week.
