Mines, The prospects fora lively revival of the quartz mining industry at Brown’s Valley are becoming brighter every day. The Dannebrogne is erecting a ten-stamp mill with 4. capacity for twenty stamps and everything is done in first-class shape. The Flag is being developed by ainking, and no ore is being crushed as) the mill used by the Flag Compiny is on the Hibbert & Burris mine, which mining property is now being reopened under the management of Superintendent Walrath, backed by arich company, It is expected that the Pennsylvania and Jefferson preperties will be re-opened ina few weeks by or under the management of those interested in the Danvebrogue. The towA& is now taxed to ite limit for aceommodations for‘those workiug the mines. Visitors cannot remain in town over night, as they cannot be accommodated, and many mining men who have come to visit the locality, have to return the same day to Marysville in order to secure accommodations, The contract’ has been let for the building of a large hotel on the Downer property. The present site of the town is covered by mineral patents or mining clainis, and only a few people have such property rights in the town that could be built upon.—Marysville Appeal, Roll of Honor.
