agent of said grantee, resident in said Nevada County. the said Supervisors, or their
employes, may enter upon the road of sa‘d
grantee and dothe work as ordered by the
said Supervisors; said Supervisors to ,keep
an itemized account of the cost of said work,
which said grantee bv the acceptance of this

upon its preseftation to said grantee’s local

constructed under this franchise during
every day, unless prevented by the elements
or unavoidable accidents.
PROVIDED, further, that cars shall be operated upon said lines at intervals of not
more than one bour between the hours of
7:30 a.m. and 9:30 ». m. each and every day,
unless prevented by the elements or un
avoidable accidents.
SEcTiIon 5. The said grantee, and his assigns, shall construct all necessary flumes
and culverts forthe free passage of water
under the tracks of said railway, where the
same naturally flows; and all curves, acqueducts turnouts and switches, shall be constructed underthe plans and specifications
approved by the Supervisors of the First
oe Second Supervisorial Districts, aforesaid.
SECTION 6. TheCounty of Nevada, in making the grant of this franchise, expressly re
serves the right to pave, macadamize, renew or sewer any of said highways, or to
lay gas, water or other pipes therin, such
work to be done so as toinjure said railroad
as little as possible.
SECTION 7. Provided further,that the cars
upon said road shall not be allowed to stand
on the highway or highway intersections in
such a manner as to obstruct the use of said

road and any connecting line or lines leading to and into the City of Grass Valley, or
into the City of Nevada, in said county. and
