Just before going to Vinton’s drug store for Doan’s Kidney Pille I could not. lift anything on account of my back. If I even stooped it required a terrific effort to straighten, and to a man in this condition life is not a continual round of pleasure. Doan’s Kidney Pille certainly did work wonders. The burning aching io my back has completely disappeared. I can lift and my back has been so strengthened that I'am not inconvenienced when bringing the muscles of the loins into use. I would pot take a bandred dollars and havea return of the lameness and soreness across the small of my back. I have never ceased to recommend Doan’s Kidney Pills.” For sale by alldealers, Price 50 cents per box. Foster-Milburn Co., Buffalo, N. Y., sole agents for the United States. Io March, 1898, Olivia Menkhauser was insured in the Lodge for $1,000, naming ber basband as benefloiary. Within eix months Gustav Menkhauser, her busband, who resided in St, Olair county, mardered her. The jury imposed the death penalty, bat Executive clemency was extended and Menkhauser’s sentence was commuted to life imprisonment. While in the. penitentiary Menkhauser brought suit on the insurance policy, payment on which was refused. The Court says the only question at issue wes whetber the fact that Menkhauser murdered his wife was a bar to his suit, bat on trial a verdict was retarned for Menkhauser. The Court concludes by saying: ‘The contract between the society and the insured contained no provision absolving the society from ability in the event that ehe was murdered by the beneficiary, and public policy does not require us to read such a condition into the agreement.” Matt Waite’s young son fell yesterday and dislocated his thamb.
