If of Art. 11 of the constitution of subordisate Parlors by inserting the-words: “except.as hereinafter provided in Bec. 5 hereaf” immediately after. the Opening words “Oandidates must be of sound health.” It. Add anew Section to article IZ of constitution of subordinate parlors to be known as Sec. 6 and to read as follows to wit: In case the surgeon's certificate be unfavorable the candidate may never theless be ‘elected and initiated us non-beneficial members provided he “has previously filed with the Secretary of the Parlor, a written waiver in oe . licate, on tehalf of himself and his Sick 6: ran eral or other monetary benefits, thom. any subordinate Parlor or the order, in consideration of such election and it such candidates be so elected under such circumstances, the facts and the aforesaid‘ written waiver shall be spread upon the minutes of the Parlorand one of said duplicate written waivers shall be sent to the Grand. Forms of such written waiver shall be supplied to subordinate Parlors by the Grand Secretary and no such written waiver shall be received by any Perlor except it be in accordance with the form furnished by the Grand Secretary. Amend Section 17 of Article VIII of the constitution of subordinate Parlors by adding the words, “other than the non-beneficial members. elected in accordance with Section V, Article 11, hereof,” after the opening words thereof, “Every member qualified as required by the laws.” Amend Section II of Article VIE of the constitution of subordinate Pdflors by adding fie words “other than the non-beneficial members elected in accordance with Section V of Article I hereof;” after the opening words thereof, “Im case of.the death of a member.” That Section 2, Article VIII, of constitution of Grand Parlor be amended by adding thereto the following: “Twelfth. Three employment committees, eavh to consist of three members, one to have headquarters at Sacramento, one at San Francisco and the other at Los Angeles.. The Grand President shall assign to the jurisdiction ot said committees respectively the Parlors of the order as are most contigaous and accessible to the places above named respectively. That Article IX of constitution 0) Grand Parlor be amended by adding thereto a new section to ‘be known as Section 22; to read as follows: It-shall be the duty of the employ ‘ment committees to obtain, if possible employment’ for ‘such unemployed brothers as shall make application therefor through subordinate Parlors. It shall organize and select a chairman and also a secretary. The secretary thereof shall keep a full record of applicants for: employment stating their names, ages, occupations, Parlors to which they belong, positiéns secured, and any other pertinent information.
