Scott, who was for many . years vicd president and general manager of the Union Iron Works, died at hie home in Sen Francisco yesterday poor health for some time, and a few days ago his condition become critical. Mr. Scott was one of the best-known not in the world, and it was to the genius and the support of his ‘fellowworkers at the big plant in the Portrero that the Oregon made her famous record. Mr. Scott had long been a sufferer from kidney troubles! Irving M. Scott was a native of Maryland, and aged 65 years.
