Irving M. Scott, who was for many
. years vicd president and general manager of the Union Iron Works, died at
hie home in Sen Francisco yesterday

Mr. Scott was one of the best-known

been a sufferer from kidney troubles!
Irving M. Scott was a native of Maryland, and aged 65 years. He came to
California in 1860 and entered the employ of Peter Donabue at ‘his foundry.

evening William Armstrong, « farmer,
residing four miles south of Philmath, was attacked by the animaland
