Supervisors Accused.
Sacramento, April 2.—The Grand Jury
has-filed eighteen accusations against the
Board of Supervisors of this county. The
charges are for failing to advertise for bide

River and Harbor Committee today: re~
ported an appropriation of $250,000 for thei
construction of restraining dams, to protect the Sacramentoand Feather rivers
from further injury., from tnining debris.
The work is to be performed under the direction of the Secretary of War, who will
consult with the California Debris Commission.

the California Auti-Debris Association, ar-,
