One of them consisted of Deputy Sheriff MeMcCullough and Mr. McCormick, ‘the other of three young men. The stranger’s trail was taken up at the French reservoir where Fogarty had espied him, It was followed along the diteh tothe road, then it led up om Lone Ridge whieh lies in a southerly direction from North San Juan.
