Louis Bishop, a well-known cattleman of Yuba county was killed Monday by being struck by a falling tree. Monday morning Mr, Bishop left his home in Oak Valley fo salt some cattle in the woods and told his wife he would be home that afternoon. Joseph Pendolla and Frank Strandbury went through the woods and were horrified to find their friend underneath the fallen tree.
