AMENDED ARTICLES OF INCORPORATION OF LAWRENCE WAREHOUSE COMPANY ON ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: ee ee eee That we, V. 0. Lawrence, M. S. Lawrence and H. F. Schaefer, the undersigned, all of whom are residents of the State of California, and subscribers to the capital stock of a proposed corporation hereinafter named, have this day voluntarily associa~ ted ourselves together for the purpose of forming a corporation under the lews of the State of California, and to that end to certify and declare as follows: FIRST:That the name of this corporation shall be LAWRENCE WAREHOUSE CQMPANY. SECOND:~ That the purposes for which this corporation is formed are: To purchase, acquire, construct, op~ erate, lease, sell and maintain warehouses, and to conduct a general warehouse business; to haul, carry and transport goods, wares and merchandise of all kinds; to accept, hold and keep on storage for compensation, goods, wares and merchandise of all kinds; to buy, acquire, hold, lease, sell, exchange, convey, mortgage and deal in real estate and personal property; to loan money and to borrow money, and to pledge and mortgage the personal property and real property of this corporation to secure the payment of the Same 5 to act as the agent for other firms, persons and corporations, and to do any act or thing necessary or proper to carry out any of the above named purposes and also to make and enter into all obligations, contracts and agreements concerning or relating to the business of this corporation, or the management of its property and affairs.
