ARTICLES OF INCORPORATION OF THE LE DUC GOLD MINING COMPANY. KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: That we, the undersigned, a majority of wnoom are residents of the State of California, have this day voluntarily associated ourselves for the purpose of forming a corporation under the laws of the State of california. AND WE HEREBY CERTIFY: First. That the name of said corporation shall be the LE DUC GOLD MINING COMPANY. Second. That the purposes for which tnis corporation is formed, are to purchase, locate, bond, lease or to otherwise acquire, hold, own, sell and deal in mines and mining claims, and to Operate and develop and work the same. T9 purchase or otherwise acquire, Own and Operate ditches and water rights, and operate these and dispose of same. TO claim, Own, hold and operate smelters and reduction works. TO purchase, Own, hold, buy and gell, real estate and its appurtenances, and to own, buy and sell and trade in stock, bonds, and securities of all kinds. TO borrow money and to do all that 1s necessary to do, a general mining business or to carry out the general purposes of this corporation. Third. That the place where it s principal business is to be transacted in the State of Califomia is:Grass Valley, california. Fourth. That the term for which the corporation is to exist is fifty years from and after tne date of its incorporation. Fifth. That the number of its directors shall be five, and that the names and residences of directors who are appointed for the first year to serve wntil an election and qualification of guch officers are as follows, to wit:—.
