Both own stock in this.mine, and as
the new mill is now crushing quartz
they desire to visit the property. Two.
other: owners of stock in the tmine-‘arrived from Cincinnati, Obio, two. or }
‘three days ago and are at Indiana
Ranch now. It is believed that this
property is valuable and that ten. more
stamps will-be added, as the result. of
the visit of these Eastern stockholders.
Should their impressions of the Indiana Ranch district be favorable ‘and
the prospects are found as represented .
the gentlemen probably will make further. investments in developing mines.

Saving Fruit Trees.
The orchardists are greatly exercised

from death last evening while working

He was caught by a large slab that fell
from the hanging:wall. It struck him
on the shoulder. He was knocked to.

buried him to the neck, Jesse Nickerson, who was working with him, soon
released him from his precarious. position and helped him to the surface,
when he came to town for medical treat‘ment. It was.a close call for his life.
