He and a friend named Sullivan and the woman had ‘been drinking together and all were drunk when she drank the acid. ENTERPRISE BREWING CO. The Reputation of Their” Products Ts -Steadily Increasing. Nearly everybody has read about or heard of. the celebrated Enterprise beer, and all persons who like to drink a glass of good beer know that the quality of the Enterprise beer can not be excelled. Recently U. Remensperger, President of the company, assumed charge of the large beer department, and about two weeks ago a new brew of lager was put upon the market. It is.extra pale, sparkling and bright, and is pronounced by competent judges to be the best Jager beer brewed in the State. sgrpee : Mr. Remensperger is a first-class brewer and was for many years employed at a large salary by John Wieland of San Francisco. While he was in charge of that brewery the Wieland ager beer came into favor all over the Coast aiid met with an enormous sale. Some time ago he became convinced that he could superintend the brewing much better than any one the company could hire, and therefore took charge of that department, with the result , above stated. For the same reasons P. Windler, Vice President of the Enterprise Brewing Company, took the management of the steam beerdepartment. He is concéded to be the best brewer of this grade of beer on the Coast, which accounts for the excellent quality of the steam beer that is now being manufactured by the company. The Enterprise beer of both kinds can be found on sale in every town in the State, and the company’s monthly sales are steadily increasing, which sbows that the public appreciate their efforts to supply them with articles of genuine merit. The wedding was attended only by relatives of the contracting parties and a few intimate friends. The house Was nicely decorated for the occasion. To the music of the wedding march played by Mrs. G. F. Adair, the bridal party came into the parlor, where the bride and groom stood beneath a handsome wedding bell made of white callas and Smilax while Rev. W. C. Gray, in a very impressive manner, performed the marriage ceremony. Miss Gertrude Adair, sister of the bride, officiated as bridesmaid, and Harry Evans as groomsman. After the usual congratulations had been extended the company sat down toa fine wedding breakfast. One Large Scar Is All That Remains of Great Scrofula Sores Neighbors Could Not Bear to Look Upon Her—A Grand, Complete Cure by Hood’s Sarsaparilla After Others Failed. “I was taken with neuralgia in my head and eyes. Not long after this, a scrofula sore appeared on my left cheek, extending from my upper lip to my eye. Other sores came on my neck and on my right arni and one of my limbs. They were very troublesome and painful and soon became great running sores. My face looked so bad that some of my neighbors could not bear to look at me and ddvised me to wear a bandage, but I feared this would irritate the sore and make it worse. Sol Could Not Hide the Sores. My niece, who was familiar with a case similar to mine, which had been cured by Hood’s Sarsaparilla, urged me to try it. Finally I was persuaded to do 80, and in a short time I saw it was helping me. The sores began to heal and the neuralgia in my head was better. In a few months the sores on my arms and limbs all healed; those on my neck gradually disappeared and now they are all gone. I have never had any symptom of scrofuls since, One large scar on my right arm is all the sign that remains of my terrible affliction, The neuralgia is also cured,” Mrs. J, M.
