A BIG FIRE aT MARYSVILLE

The Empire Foundry and Harvester
. Works Destroyed Last Night.
A special dispatch to the TRanscripr
says that a disastrous fire occurred at-Marysbe
The fire borke out at midnight at the
Empire Foundry and Harvester Works, and
started in the paint room of the Harvester
Works, but from what cause is not known.
The buildings and contents were entirely
destroyed.
Two or three harvesters that had been
finished recently were destroyed, as well
as all the machinery and a large number
of valuable patterns.
The loss is $20,000; ‘insurance, $11,500
A strong wind prevailed at the time, but
through the efforts of the firemen the flames
were kept from spreading to adjacent
buildings. ;
