It is the talk among men in his line of business in San Francisco that his company is loser by $35,000 through him. The Gamewell Company at 19 Barclay street, New York, is writing to cities that have put in the alarm system, as Nevada City did, saying: Warrants as per contracts should be made only to this company by warrants, orders, checks or drafts to the order of its treasurer, H.
