of thousand tons of ore in sight which Mr.
Atto Woehler,
stock, informed me would most of it average nearly 98 per cent metul. Besides this
is the old waste dump, which probably contains 200,000 tons, out of which almost pure
metal oozes, which after being run over
scraps of old iror and’tin the metal is precipitated ‘in sluives, The precipitate imanufactured into the now celebrated metallic paint, which can be made so cheaply
that manufacturers of paint in
other parts of the country cannot compete
with the Spenceville factory.
