Ordinance No. 117. eee A N ORDINANCE GRANTING TO THE 8UNLA set Telephone and Telegraph Co., its suc cessors and assigns, the right to place, erect and maintain poles, wires and other conduc tors for the transmission of electricity for tele-phone and telegraph purposes in and upon the streets, alleys and public highways in the City of Nevada, andto exercise the privilege of oyerating telephones within the said City. The Board of Trustees of the City of Nevada do ordsin as fellows; Section 1. The City of Neyada hereby grants to the Sunset Telephone and Te'egraph Co., its successors and assigns, the right aod privileget place, lay, erect, maintain and operate in the streets, alleys and puolie bighways within said city, poles, wires and other conductors for the transmission of electricity fer telephone and telegraph purposes.
SECTION 2. Such wires or conductors shall be stretched upon poles or other fixtures above ground in a werkmenlike and proper manner; said poles shali be erected at the edge of the sidewalks in said City in a good and substantial menneand shall be painted.
