The Forecast For Two Weeks—Light
Storms and Warmer Weathcr.
Sr. Joservu, Mo., Nov. 23.—Foster’s last
bulletin gave forecast of the storm waves to
“eross the continent from November 28th to
December 2d, and the next will reach the
Pac fic Coast about the 9th, cross the western mountains by the close of the 10th, the
great central valley from the llth to 13th,
and the Eastern States about the 14th.
This will probably be a drystorm, its path
b; way of the. upper lakes, north of the
lower lakes, through Nova Scotia and south
of Newfoundland, Light snows will fall
north of it, accompanied by warm weather
throughout the United States, followed by a
moderate coo] wave.
The warm wave will °cross the western
mountain about the 9th, the great central
valleyg;about the lith and ‘the Eastern
Statés about the 13th. .
The cool wave will cross the western
mountains about the 12th, the great central
walleys about the 14th and the Eastern
States about the 16th,
The central portions of the United States
are promised a warm December, the balance
of the country. an average temperature,
Ri sinfill will generally be about or .a. little
below the normal.

Wasuinaton, Dec. 4.—Secretary Lamont
has sent to the house the second annual report of the California Debris Commission,
whose jurisdiction extends to: hydraulic
mining in the territory drained by the Sacramento and San Joaquin rivers in California, '
The total amount of materia] mined under
permits from October 1, 1893, to October 1,
1894, is estimated at 1,500,000 cubic yards,
and the avilable storage provided and partically and’ wholly completed for tuture opera~tions is estimated at 8,500,000 cubic yards,
