~The members of Oo. O bave cause
to congratulate themselves for the

number present from this city, there
were two or three \Carloade of Grass
Valleyans in attendance and they, too,
thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality
and pleasure of the occaaion.
Many of the numerons characters
represented on the ball room floor were
novel, quaint and comical, and there
was much originality showh in the
make up of some of the impersonations represented, the groups being
especially well sustained and attracting general attention.

exceedingly troublesome, and cause
serious disfigaration of the face and
complexion. Eczema, salt rheam,
scrofula, shingles, ringworm, boils,
pimples, itch, and a score of uther
disagreeable troubles, result from
sluggieh, impure, and poisoned blood.
If you truly desire to get rid of such
evils, do not resort to outward treatment or application. Common senee
and the experience of your friends
will at once suggest a blood pnrifier
and system renovator like Paine’s
Celery Compound. — This marveléus
cleaneer soon multiplies the namber
of vital red corpuscles, and fills the
arteries with a health stream that produces clean, solid flesb, and firm,
well-braced nerves. Mrs. L.S. Bailey,
West Potsdam, N. Y., weites thus:
“I bad @mall blotches break out on
my head, and in a short tims my
whole body was covered. The doctore Called it scrofula. Ihave had as
many-as ten doctors treat. me, bat
none seemed to help me; At night
