Mrs. Ora Jane Bowsckiy, thes venerable wife of J. G. Bowerman of this
\eity, died at four o’clock yesterday.
morning after a lengthy illness. .The
faneral will take place at. two o'clock
tomorrow afternoon from her late home
on Prospect Hill; Mrs. Bowerman was
born in Vermont in 1828. Nearly fiftyone years ago she was married to Mr.
Bowerman in Canada, and in 1874 they
removed to this dity with their family.
Three children are left to mourn her
loss—Mrs. C, H. Neeley of Truckee and’
Mrs. George A. Nihéll and Ralph Bowerman of this: city. She was.a balf sister of Benjamin Locklin of this city.
Mrs., Bowerman was a woman of noble
attributes and had many warm friends
among our people. .
Mrs. B.C. Black died at seven o’clock
yesterday morning at her home in
North Bloomfield, after three weeks’
illness,

Target Medals Issued.
The Adjutant General of the State
