Interest in the. revival meetings that aré

great amount of good‘ done through the
agency of these religious demonstrations,
no one can successfully deny, and the

New members are being added to'the roll

that is being taken in this direction. The
girls class is increasing in size, and Prof,

sections, one for the large girls and one for
‘the small girls, each section to have a differ-ent time for training.

As soon as the stormy season is-over a
number of changes and improvements will
be made at the Catholic Chuyeh and rectory. The latter structure’ is raised,
and another story added, making the house
a two-story building, It will also be remodeled and the already pretty and wellkept grounds.are to be further: improved.
The church is to réceive a thorough renovation and to be put in good repair, so that
both the interior and exterior. appearance

Peace and Harmony. fe
ee
To ensure peace, harmony and happines,
in the household and at the same time preserve domestic economy, buy your groceries
and provisions of Gaylord, whose reputation
for keeping the best and freshest of everything in his line is well established, His
store is always well stocked and everything
is guaranteed to be as represented. Try
those fine Burbank potatoes that he is selling for a dollar a sack, and then buy a
package of that nice shredded codfish and
you will then have the choicest ingredients
for that very palateable dish that nearly
every body. likes—codfish and potatoes. _
One of the Bodies Recovered,
~ Ah Get, one of the Chinamen who was
carried away and drownéd when the big
dam at Omega broke a short time ago, was
found Saturday about a) mile. and a half
below the dam. The body was in better
condition than might be expected, not a
bone being broken. The dead Chinaman
was a cousin of a storekeeper at Washington named'Ah Bang. The two other missing Chinamen have not not yet been found,
