Old Soldiers Congressman Grove L, Johnson of this distriet has introduced in the House the following bill : Pla Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That from and after the passage of this Act there shall be no pension granted for any sum lese than $12 per month. Section 2. ‘That from and after the passage of this Act all pensions heretofore granted, and which are‘ less than $12 per month, shall be raised to the sum of $12 per month, and shall be hereafter paid at the rate of $12 per month. : Section 3. That all pensions heretofore or hereafter granted shall. be deemed, and are hereby declared, to be a vested right in the pensioner, and shall not be suspended or reduced or dropped or discontinued, except after a full hearing granted the pensioner, and after due notice tohim of at least 100 drys of such hearing, and from which decis~ foa said pensioner can appeal to the United States Court for the district in which he resides,and no pension shall be stopped in pay ment until after the decision of said court.
