Au Ordinance Amending Ordinance No, 76
Regulating Public Health.
Lae BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY
OF NEVADA, do ordain as follows :
Ordinance No, 76, alating the public
health is hereby PB 13 by the addition of
the following section :
SEOTION 1..
Every physician attending any case of diptheria, small pox, or any kind of contagious
on infectious disease within the City of Nevada, is hereby required to report the case
in writing to the Health Officer of said city,
six hours after the nature of the disease is
Known to him,; and. it shall be the duty of
the Health Officer to see that the house
wherein any such patient is so confined,
shall be quarantined, and a yellow flag
placed in a conspicuougplace on the outside
thereof, as a waruing that said premises are
infected.
SECTION 2,
A violation of any proyision of thé foregoing ble pis of this. Amendment shall be
deemed a misdemeanor, and punishable in
the manner provided by law, ;
The foregoing Amendment to said Ordinance shall tafe effect and be in force on
and after February Ist, 1699.
