N ORDINANCE FIXING THE FEES OF
LA the City Marshal and Policemen for services in cages arising out of the breech of City
Ordinances.
The Board of Trustees of the City of Nevada
do ordain as follows: 3
Section I. The fees of the City Marshal and
Policemen for all services performed in cases
arising out of te breech of any City Ordinance
shall be, where a fine is collected, the sume as
are allowed by law to Constables in criminal
eases for like services.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect
and be in force from and after the Tenth day of
January, 1895.

“An ordinance granting to JAMES Db
HAGUE, bis successors and assigns the
right to place, erect and maiutain poles, wires
and other conductors for the transmission of
electricity for power purposes and to lay a pipe
or conduit for the purpose cf tranemitiing wa er
for power from # point in the public highway
on the east boundary of the Empire Mine, in
Grass Valley township, county yf Nevada;
thence westerly along the Ophir road to the east
line of the townsite of South Grass Valley and
to executors, the—privilege of operating and
conducting said power line and pipe line. The
Board of Supervisors of the county of Nevada
do ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. The county of Nevada hereby
grants to. JAMES D. HAGUE, his success
ors and assigne, the right and privilege
to place, lay, work maintain and operate on the
Ophir road from the east boundary of the Empos mine, westerly to the townsite of Grass
Talley, poles, wires and other conductors for
the transminssion of electricity for power pur
poses and a pipe line to conduct water for
pow ér purposes.
SKcTION 2. Said wires or conductores shall be
stretched upon poles or other fixtures, abovo
ground, in a wor maolike and proper wannter,
