Dear Dr. Tanis A new request has just been forwarded to Mr. Limacher for photography of the Bond of the State of California that you are also interested in. If Mr. Limacher grants this new request, we will be able to provide you with a duplicate transparency in color or a color print of this document. A duplicate transparency is $50 and an 8 x 10 color print of it would be the same price. I think this would be the easiest solution to your needs, Please let me know which one you want. You need to do this request in writing, and send a check for that amount to the Oakland Museum of California, History Department, to my attention at the museum's address. As far as Mr. Limacher's permission I have requested that he signs your letter, which I forwarded to him, stating that he grants the permission. Unfortunately your letter alone is not enough.
