Every person who deals, plays, or carries Ou, opens Or causes to be opened, or who conducts either as owner, or employe, whether for hire or not, any game of Keno or round the-table poker, within the corporate limits of the City of Nevada, Cal., shall be deemed guilty of-a misdemeanor and on conviction thereof shall be tired not jess than twentytive dollars, nor more than one hundred dollars, or by imprisonment in the city prison for a period of not. more than ten days. SECTION 2. ; Every person who knowingly permits any of the games mentioned in the preceding Sect.on to be played, conducted or dealt in any house owned or rented by such person, ‘n whole or iu part, is guilty of a misde4 meanor and upon conviction thereof, is punishable as provided inthe preceding Section.
