The Board of Trustees of the City of Nevada
do ordxin as follows:
Section 1. The City of Nevada hereby grants
to the sunset Telephone and Te’ezraph Co., its
successors and assigns, the right and priviegeto
place, lav, ereét-anadntain and operate in the
strects, alleys aud puplic highways within sa‘d
éity, poles, wirés «nd other conductors for. the
transmission of eiectricity for telephone and
telegraph purposes.
SECTION 2, uch wires or conductors shgll be
stretched upon voles or other fixtures ®tove

-said poles shall be erected at the edge of the
sidewalks in -aid City in a good and substantial
maune~ and shall be paintes. Said grantee and
