Shot in a Quarrel
Reppine, Jan. 15th,—W. H. Orooker
was shot and possibly fatally wounded

as they reached Redding yesterday,
were that Orooker was at work surveying some mining claims and Ed, Hill,
who claimed a portion of the ground,
appeared on the scene and protested
