In the evening, however, the visitors with a number of invited guests, re-assembled and enjoyed one of the happiest seasons of entertaiment that had been provided for them. An elaborate banquet was tendered them at the National Hotel by the hardware men and business men of this city.
The large dining room was appropriately decorated and the menu was one of the choicest ever served in that famous hostelry.
