He is promoting a company with a view of developing the iron induetry of this State. The Supervisors of several counties of the State have levied a special tax tising, exhibition and immigration purposes, and the understanding ie that a part of this fund is to be expended in preparing, installing and maintaining an exhibit of their pro-~ ducts at the Lou‘siana Purchase Exposition in St. Louis during™the summer of 1904. No doubt the Supervisline a8.we have many and varied re sources which should be advertised to the world. Se ge Pi ce Masquerade Ball. Everything seems to .indicate. that the Masquerade Ball to be given by Oo. O, N. G. O., on Friday evening, February 20th, will far surpass all previous ‘efforts of this kind in the county. The committees are hard at work making the necessary arrangements, and as this will be the annual ball of Company C, the boys should receive every encouragement from our citizens. The prizes this year will be finer and more of them. Wilds’ Orchestra will furnish the latest music. Joint Instaliation, Chattanooga Post, G, A.
