When, they had reached a point near the small building at the Knickerbocker gravel mine, a short distance the other side of H. Grover’s place, the seat of their cart broke and both men were thrown out, the -horse getting away from them and ruaning to town: Guenza was hurt quite badly, so his friend came to town after a horse and buggy. When he ret@rned Guenza had disappeared, After calling to him and hunting around he discovered that the ipjured man had -fallen gings, a distance of 60 or 70 feet, ‘The bank isnot far from the road, and Guenza had walked over the brink, ‘He was brought to town and Dr. Maller summoned, An examination showed that his skull had been slightly fractured on the back of the head, and that his body and limbs were severely. bruised, He also sustained internal injuries, Gugnza is in a critical condition, bat he may recover, The Ordinance License. Judge Caldwell of the Superior Court today gave a decision in the case of the City of Nevada vs. Wallace, which came up from the Justice Court on appeal. Wallace was convicted in the lower court of peddling without a license, and was fined $100.
