Board of Supetvisors of the county of Nevada

SECTION.1. The ceuity of Nevada hereby
grants to JAMES D. HAGUE, his succegaors and “assigus, the right: and privilege
to place, lay, work maintain and operate on the
Ophir road from the east boundary of the Kmshe mine, westerly to the townsite of Grass
Valley. poles, wires and other conductors’ for
the transmission of electricity for power pur
poses. and a pipe line to conduct water for
power purposes.
SECTION 2. Said wires or conluctors shall be
stretched upon poles or other fixtures, abovo
ground, ina workmanlike and proper mann: r;
and in such amanneras not to interfere with
travel upon s@id road, and said pipe line shall
be plaged in such a manner as not. to interfere
with the use of said highway bythe public.
SecTION 3. The said grantee or assigns may
make all necessary excavations in sait biph
way for the dear dg of erecting and maintaining poles or other supports fur said wires or
gonductars or repairing the same and for the
purpose of laying anc
line, and s.id work shall be done in comp
ance with the necessary rules, regulations, ordinances or orders which may, during the con
tinuance of this franchise so be adopted from
time to time by the Board of Supervisors of
sald county, and the same shall be done to the
satisfaction of the said Board ‘of Supervisors,
