A Good Showing.
Yesterday City Clerk Sid. J, Peard
completed the semi-annual report,

The Ervin Blunkall Co.
Makes Good Impression Last Evening.
The great military comedy, “Qapt.
'Impudente,’’ was’ produced at the Nevada Theater last night by the Ervin
Blunkall Company to a fair-sized audience. It was the initial appearance
of the company here, and if last aight’s
performance is any criterion we are to
be treated for the rest of the week to
some high-class and meritable productions by a clase of artists who
without the shadow of «# doubt form
one of the best repertoire troupes that
have visited this section. There is not
a “stick” in the bunch, each and every
one taking their part in a clean-cut,
free and easy style,.and devoid of that
distress 80 often marked with various

combinations appearing here in tbe
past. The essentials of the cast are a
smattering of the humorous intermingling with the emotional, and all
centering in the spirited aud stirring
war drama that causes the heart to
flutter and the soul to stir with the
patriotism that but needs the spark .
to kindle intoflame the burning love
of one’s home and country. In addition to the play a specialty in the way
of jig dancing was given by Bert Walters, late of the Keith vaudeville circult. To say that this feature was ap-.

which the fountain pen was greeted,
[f seemed to mean the saving of so
1nuch time and annoyance for so many
people that its sale wae simply pbenominal,
But the fountain pen was not by apy
mesens perfect aod its users soon discovered that the bother was only concentrated, instead of being dispensed
with. The finest fountalo pen would
write indifferently well as long as
there was ink in it but, when that gave
out basy man had to stop, anscrew au
inky c+p, bunt around fora filler and
the particular ink recommended by
the manufactarers of that particular
pen and so on through a long process
of annoyance,
The maoufacturere of the Quaker
City Self-¥illing Fountain Pen have
overcome all this bother aud produced
a practical writing tool which ie as
easy to use as if one were simply writiog with tbe filler needed for the old
peo. There is nothing to anecrew,
nothing to equirt, nothing to loge or
get ont of order. Its constriction is
simple and substantial end the operation of filling it 80 simple that you
wonder nobody thought of it before.
It is merely neceseary to dip the pen
pressing it sligbtly, lift ap as us
aod go on writing. Its capacity is no
less than the béthersome kind.
We feel that we are not over-praising
the Quaker Oity Self-Filling Fountain
