Nuggets From Fall Creek.
Cc. G. Fisk bas brought down another
lot of handsome gold nuggets from the
Ogdensburg and Laurence mines on
Fall creek, near Washington. He arranged themenpon a card in the shape
of a five-pointed star: and had Moore
photograph the collection, which is
called the “Star of Nevada County.”
The nuggets are of different shapes and
range in size from that of a pea to a
small hen’s egg. The star is a companion piece to the “Bell of Fall Creek,”
a collection of nuggets of which photographs were taken some time since.
Mr. Fisk says the gravel claims where
these golden lumpg were found continue to yield good returns, and the
outlook is very encouraging.

that John P. Irish of California made
@ brilliant and pointed effort in that
direction, and General Bragg and.
Franklin McVeagh also were for a bolt.
I should like to know what right
they have to interfere with the work of
the delegates sent here by the people.
Even Whitney of New York is an interloper, not having been sent as a delegute to this conventiqn. What right
have such people to assume to run this
convention?”
THERE is more Catarrh in this section
of the country than all other diseases
put together, and until the last few
years was supposed to be incurable,
For a great many years doctors pronounced it a local disease, and prescribed local remedies, and by constantly failing to.cure with local treatment, pronounced it incurable. Science
has proven catarrh to be a constitutional disease, and therefore requires
constitutional treatment. Hall’s. Catarrh Cure, manufactured, by F. J.
Cheney & Co., Toledo, Ohio, is the only
constitutional cure on the market. It
is taken internally in doses from 10
drops to a teaspoonful. It acts directly
on the blood and mucous surfaces of
the system. They offer one hundred
dollars for any case it fails to cure.
