An ordinance regulating the peddling of merchandise, fruits, provisions, wares, and commodities within the corporate limits of the
City of Nevada,
PFYHE BOARD,OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY
§ of Nevada do ordain as follows:
Section 1.
It shall be unlawful tor any person or persons
to peddle any merchandise, fruits, provisions
wares or Commodities of any kind or description within the corpo:ate mits of the City of
Nevada, without first procuring a license therefore, as hereinafter required,
: Section 2.
All persous before engaging inany peddling
referred to in Section 1 hereof, shall pay to the
City, fora license therefor, in advance, one of
the following sums of money, to wit: One
Dollar and 50-100 ($1.50) per day; or Ten ($10)
Dollars per week; or Twenty-five ($25) Dollurs
per quarter. * z
i. Section 3.
Any person doing any peddling as aforesaid
‘without first proturing the license therefore
herein required, is hereby declared to be guilty
of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof
shall be fined ina sum not less than. twenty
dollars, nor more than one hundred dollars, or
shall be imprisoned in the City prison for a
term of not exceeding ten days.
Section 4. J
All ordinances, or parts of ordinances, in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed.

This ordinance shall take effect from and
after the 5th day of July, 1895, \
