McNeil for $522.52 recorded July 28, 1856: Eagle Mill Property on Big Deer Creek, formerly located by Wn. Crawford, Orland Hamilton, R. B. Heacock and Wm Wood. _ DEEDS Book 4 p468 Sheriff S. W. Boring to F. Delong and Herman Coye, Adm. of the Estate of Wm. McNeil; recorded May 23, 1859: store and lot on Main Street; said lot being 23' on Main Street, running back half the distance from said Main Street to Broad Street; the store is now occupied by Hamilton & Rogers; the lot is bounded on the East side by Sanford's lot and on the West by Hussey's lot. M. and A. Tackney) in Democrat Office Building. DEM December 3, 1856: Merchant Tailoring & Gent's Furnishings in "Democrat Building" a few doors below the U. S. Hotel corner. DEM May 26, 1858 p2c2: S. W. Grush, late of the Monumental Hotel, has opened a restaurant in the Democrat Building on Broad Street. DEM August 4, 1858: REMOVAL The office of the NEVADA DEMOCRAT has been removed into the fire proof brick building, corner of Broad and Pine over Hamlin's Book Store (53 Broad Street) DEM August 4, 1858 p3cl: The building formerly occupied by the Democrat office, has been moved back several feet, and is now being fitted up by Mr. Grush, for a hotel. The second floor will be divided into rooms for sleeping apartments. DEM August 18, 1856 CO-PARTNERSHIP NOTICE: I have this day enterinto a co-partnership with A. H. Parker and from and after this date, the business of Hotel keeping will be conducted under the name and style of Grush and Parker, at the building known as the "Democrat Building", Broad Street, Nevada.
