A dispatch was received last evening by Isaac Williamson, Esq., from F. J. Johnson, stating that Dave Ashmore died on the passage to Honolulu, and that the body would be sent to Nevada for interment. NI December 28, 1862 p3cl: Dave Ashmore, whose demise we noticed a few days since, died at Honolulu on the 22d day of November. His remains arrived at San Francisco on Tuesday, last and shipped through Wells Fargo, on Thursday last for this place. He was a member of the Protection Hook and Ladder, No. 1, and will be buried under their superintendence. His age was about 35, and he was a native of Washington, D. C. 16
