Esmond of this city, died at his residence on the corner of Spring and Pine Streets, yesterday forenoon, at twenty minutes to eleven o' clock. He had been ill for about three weeks. His wife, previous to his illness, started East to visit her relations, and started home on Sunday last, and will not arrive until Saturday. The Doctor's parents live in Oakland, and his remains will be taken there for burial as soon as his wife arrives. He was a member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, and his remains will be taken charge of by that order. Peace to his ashes.
