Bostwick, John H. — County Clerk, house on Main Street, office 52 Broad Street in NC, 1855 (in the Pioneer Brick Building of Hamlet Davis). NJ March 30, 1855: County Clerk Mr. Bostwick has appointed T. P. Hawley as his deputy. DEM August 20, 1856 plc3: Loss in the July 19, 1856 fire dwelling and furniture, $8,000. DEEDS Book 1 p75, B. H. Bostwick expired in San Francisco; Mrs. Boswick was the wife of the former County Clerk.
