It consista of $5868 88 in-cash, life insurance valued at $5252; stocks of various corporations valued at about $15,000 and six pieces of real property in Berkeley. The entire estate is left to the widow. Paul Kruger Dies _ OLarens, Switzerland, July 14.—Paul Krager, former President of the Transtaal Republic, died here at 8 o’olock this morning from Pneumonia and supervening heart weakness. _ Mr, Krager lost consciousness’ Monday. His daughter «nd son-in-law were with him at the time of his death. The exPresident’s body was embalmed and this afternoon the remains will be placed in,a receiving vault pending funeral arrdngements. Application wiil be made to the British Government for authority to transport the remains to the Transvaal. In the meantime the remaine will be temporarily interred here, Took Her Life. San Franoisco, July 14 —Weary of life at an age when it should have been all sunshine; a beautiful young woman, stylishly gowned, swallowed carbolic acid in Golden Gate Park thig afternoon, She was found in an ane conscious condition by a policemen and taken to the Park Emergency hospital where she died a few minutes later. New Yorx, July 14—The total dead in the destruction of the excursion steamer General Slocum on June 15:h is given as 958 in the final report pree sented to Police Commissioner McAdoo by the inepeo’ors in charge of the investigation. Only 857 of the dead were identified, sixty-two were reported missing and sixty-one unidentified, while 180 were injured, and only 285 out of, nearly 1400 or the steamer escaped uninjared. Assuming that the unidentified dead are among the missfhg, all but one person has been accounted for. Norge Survivors. Boston, July 14—On board the Oanard steamer Saxon, which arrived at her dock from Liverpool today, were twenty-seven persons who were on the Scandinavian-American liner Norge wrecked off the north coast of Scotland while en route from Copenhagen to New York.
