Hewas captured in Spokane after ahard struggle and is now in the jail at Rathdum. if Went Over the Srade. Chomas Wayman’s Six-Horse j Wagon Capsizes. Thomas . Wayman, the well known with his six-horse team and three tons of freight consigned to Pike City. In attempting to rounda jtarn on the Purdon grade, near Zink’s place, the horses went off the road and capsized the wagon. Luckily, Mr. Wayman escaped uninjured. One of the -horses was badly hurt, and the others are more or less cut and bruised. Today a force of men went out from this’ city to the scene of the accident to assist Mr. Wayman in getting out the wagon, which is lodged quite a distance down the hillside. ¥ A Pleasant Party. A very social gathering in the way of a surprise party took place yesterday af the home of Mr. and Mrs. P. Seith on Prospect Hill. The occasion was the fourth anniversary of the birth of their daughter, Cecilia, and the party was given in her honor, All present had a very enjoyable time.
