Nevertheless, if a free silver bill should be/ passed gold would immediately disappear from circulation and it would be withdrawn by our own people. It would cause a disturbance in the financial system and customs of the .country that would surely bring on the worst panic ever known. These aré

After an illness of two weeks or more, Miss Rebecca ‘Frances Marsh, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dan Marsh,died last evening about 8 o’clock at her home on Park Avenue. Deceased had not been in good health for the past year, and two weeks ago was stricken with cerebral meningitis,which resulted in her death. Miss: Marsh was a very estimable young lady, beloved by all her ac-'’ Quaintances for her pleasing manners and amiable disposition, For nearly a year and a half past ahe has been the Western Union Telegraph Company’s operator in this city and made friends with all who had business to transact with that office.
